Online Service System in City Minimizing Illegal Levies

It is hoped the service based on information technology developed by Jakarta Provincial Government can minimize illegal levies.

Jakarta Inspectorate Head, Zainal explained, through information technology application, Jakartans can take care of their permits without going to One Door Integrated Service (PTSP) office or another government institution offices.

With this system, he expressed, interaction between citizen and civil servant (PNS) managing the permits could be decreased thus will close opportunity for illegal levies.

"Trump up fees and requirements could trigger illegal levies," he said, Thursday (7/18).

He expressed that illegal levies could make business competitiveness become low and slowing down the economic growth because citizen doesn't want to manage their permits.

"If it happens continuously, investor will re-think to open business in Jakarta and it could hamper regional invest," he added.

He hoped, with Saber Pungli team and service based on information technology application, service could be done faster and easier.
